Set up an individual or team fundraising website! It’s quick & easy! All pledges are tax-deductible, but the check must be made payable to WOKC, not the individual runner.
Individual Fundraising
A fundraising page will automatically be created for you once you register online. Personalize your website with your own photo, message, and set your fundraising goal. Invite your friends & family to make a donation online. It’s that easy!
You can also ask for race donations in person, by phone or by email and keep up with your list of donors using the attached pledge sheet.
Team Fundraising
Form a team to walk or run in honor of a family member or friend. To register a Team, someone must act as the Captain and click on the Team Captain Registration link
- After creating your Team Name and registering, your Team Name will show up in a drop down box on the registration form for members to select from
- After your Captain has created your team name, click on Register Now and select the Team Member Registration option. Be sure to select your team name from the drop down box on the form.

Wipe Out Kids’ Cancer is excited to announce a new way to support the Tom Thumb Fun Run and Oktoberfest 5K – Be a virtual runner! If you’re not a runner or unable to attend the event, show your support by being a virtual participant. Be a part of team or an individual runner, but do it all online. Show your support to children fighting cancer and the doctors researching a cure by “running” with Wipe Out Kids’ Cancer.
Ask your friends, family, co-workers, vendors, neighbors, high school and college alumni ….and everyone else you know …. to "run" with you for the Oktoberfest 5K or Run for the Children 1 Mile Fun Run. They can be a "Virtual Runner" on your team!

Ask your company if they will sponsor the run. Also, ask your team members about getting their companies involved in the walk. Don't forget about corporate charitable matching funds!
